Vesting Finance distinguishes itself by motivating employees to take action for good causes. Think of the December actions, collecting deposit money and encouraging teams to take voluntary actions. These initiatives make us unique as an organisation. In my opinion, the fundraising actions reinforce Vesting Finance's core values. It gives me a nice feeling that the organisation is committed and helps and supports fellow human beings.
For the December actions in 2024, I suggested Stichting Opkikker as a charity to make our heart for. This idea came about because, as a family, we were offered an Opkikker day through an aid worker/volunteer. During that day, we experienced how valuable such a moment can be. This motivates us enormously to help obtain donations so that even more families can be put in the spotlight.
I think it is very good and important that within Vesting Finance there is an eye for the environment, society and policy. To me, this means that the company looks beyond just figures and also has an eye for other interests. The fact that Stichting Opkikker has now been chosen gives me a very good feeling. It feels like a helping hand. I have therefore enjoyed all the actions! The wrong Christmas jumper photos were hilarious and super fun to do together. I also enjoyed the (pre)preparations for the cake action at home.

‘Hi, I'm Floor and I work as an HR Business Partner at Vesting Finance. No day is the same in this versatile role. One minute you're participating in an HR meeting with your team, while the next you're working on the preparation of a salary benchmark or analysing absenteeism figures in the AFAS dashboard. Then you slide into a quarterly meeting to talk about current challenges and ways to increase employee engagement.
As a sparring partner for managers and employees, you advise and support on a variety of HR issues, such as absenteeism management and complex legal cases. You will also work at tactical level on projects and policy development, including personnel policy, talent management, data analysis and setting up a job and salary structure.
This dynamic position combines day-to-day support with tactical initiatives, giving you a direct impact on both employees and the organisation.
Currently, the focus is on commercial growth and getting the basics right. As Compliance Officer, your responsibilities include promoting and monitoring compliance with external and internal rules relevant to the integrity of the organisation.
Team GRC advises the Management Team in areas such as risk management. The GRC Team is a small and very nice team within which there is an informal and relaxed working atmosphere. A period when we pay extra attention to inclusion is in the month of June, when we celebrate Pride Month. We organise sessions to discuss topics and like to hear from our colleagues where there are still opportunities to further focus on inclusion. What we hear back is beautiful: ‘Inclusive?
